Vicken’s passion for personal finance and wealth management took root during his post-secondary studies as a business major, where he derived personal satisfaction from applying financial strategies to optimize one’s personal health. He subsequently set himself on a course to cultivating knowledge and expertise in the various facets of financial management with the goal of helping Canadians achieve their financial goals. Vicken joined IG Wealth Management (formally known as Investors Group) in the fall of 2007 as a licensed member and insurance advisor of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association (MFDA), and in the spirit of continuous growth and development, has since evolved his practice through various accreditations. In 2017, Vicken became a licensed IIROC advisor, significantly broadening the investment options available to clients. Shortly thereafter, Vicken received his designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® (CFP) professional and his Chartered Investment Managers (CIM^®) accreditation allowing him to provide discretionary portfolio management services to high-net-worth clients and further demonstrate his leadership in the industry.

Vicken’s expertise and his relentless commitment to delivering holistic, strategic financial solutions designed to help clients realize their financial goals is evidenced through the various awards and recognitions received over the course of his tenure at IG Wealth. During his first year with the organization, Vicken earned the President’s Club Award¹ for his performance, ranking 2nd across the country in this category. Upon completing his fifth year, he received the Gold Medalist award for exceptional client servicing, ranking among the top 5 amongst his peers at IG.
